I’m literally losing my mind trying to figure this out. Literally EVERYWHERE else my name on my Google account is what it’s supposed to be, except for when I send an email, then for whatever is says my name is JayTheSaltyBastard (which is of course not a good thing.) I went to the settings and in “Accounts and Imports” it says to send mail as my name, on my regular Google account it says my name, my YouTube account says my name. My email is literally the ONLY PLACE where I’m having this problem. Please help.

Lol,I can see why that might be problematic. In settings,click on your account and scroll to account settings. You'll see your name in the options. Just edit your name there, that's the name that shows in the "sent from" field

Are you sure the other side is seeing that (like the receiver of the email), or could it just be you seeing it on your side because of something in your contact on your phone itself?
