May 14, 2020 - Anyone in this thread in 2025 😁. I'm using this app with success on my Android. However, I can't find my airpods that are both in the case but it's still showing battery percentage. Does that mean they're nearby or does it store it from the last pairing etc? ... I can answer my own question, the app has notification of settings for battery percentage and one option is to show ' last none charge' info.

Hello so I got a gen 2 pair of airpods, but I have an android phone and they connect via bluetooth nicely and the audio is nice, but I can't seem to be able to see the battery levels with any of the apps reccomended, materialpods is not compatible with my phone for some reason and neither airbattery, podair, andropods, podsbattery or anything I've tried seem to detect my airpods for some reason I don't understand and is driving me a bit crazy, any help or advice?

There's an app called AssistantTrigger that can let you see the battery level of AirPods on any Android.

It may show up under the devices button on the quick menu, but I'm not certain about Apple headphones.

I'm using the Samsung S8+ currently, and probably won't be switching to iPhone anytime soon.. But I do really want to use the Airpods. Can anybody in here confirm/deny, if it is possible to check the battery status of the Case AND the earpods themself with the app: BatON ? Or any other app or tool, maybe an alternative?

I didn't have good luck with that app when I used it during the Airpods launch. I hear the Pixel 2 is getting Bluetooth battery life indicators, so that might come later in the 8.0 update whenever Samsung gets it.

Go to settings and it should have the name of them on top, displaying battery of each ear piece and the case

I see as it says Flycc, try the Flycc application on iOS or Android. You can use the app to adjust certain settings but that’s if it happens to work.

I have tried checking the battery level of my case when the AirPods are in my ear, it doesn’t show up in my Notification Center and won’t show up when I open it near my phone, do they HAVE to be in the case to show me the cases percentage?

Place at least one AirPod back into the case but leave the case open. The case itself does not actually have its own wireless chip so it borrows the physical connection to the AirPods instead to communicate its battery level.

If you swipe all the way left on the home screen, you’ll end up on the widget page. On the bottom, there’s a button to edit them. Add the battery widget and it will show your iPhone’s battery, your AirPods, and the case separately.

How do I find out the battery health/capacity for my Airpods ?

Best way is just to charge them to full and play music until they die and check how much you get. I suppose Apple could probably run diagnostics for more information too.
