This is now possible since iOS 4.3.3 by going into the iPhone App Store > Updates > Purchased. It provides a list of your iPhone app purchases and allows redownloading from the iCloud.
Also you can visit reportaproblem.apple.com and all recent purchases will be shown.

I don't think there is a way to view just iPhone App purchases. You can view your whole iTunes purchase history. You can see your iPhone app purchases there.
Open iTunes -> Store menu -> View My Account -> Sign in -> Go to Purchase History
Update: This seem to include all your purchases using your Apple ID (iOS App Store, Mac App Store, and iTunes Store)
Some apps have in-app purchases that are “hidden”, until the app wants to let you see them. Let me try to explain.
I use a texting app that charges $10 per month for ad-free and premium features, and also a $7 per week option. Those are the only options available in the app.
UNLESS you let you subscription expire, then a modified version of the in-app subscription page comes up and a $20 per year option is available.
I can’t find any other way to access that $20 per year option unless you let your current subscription expire and get that special menu. It’s not available in the subscriptions page in my iPhone settings either.
I’ve had this happen with a bunch of apps, this is just the most recent example.
Thanks!
The purchases made against Apple Store don’t show any details regarding the charge. Whether it is for recurring iCloud extra storage space, or an iPhone purchase at a store…
