We're talking about two different things here—a slow phone and unrecognized Google logins. They are probably not related unless you jailbreak your iPhone or run some really sketchy sideloaded apps on it. Check iPhone battery settings, which often shows apps that might be slowing down your phone at the top. While you're there, check on battery health. Is it below 80% and does it say the battery needs replacing? Definitely turn on two-step login on Google and log out any unrecognized sessions or devices. Make sure your phone number and backup email are correct. More on reddit.com

Hi , you started correctly, reset passwords etc (hopefully not on her phone though) , I would recommend a factory reset of her phone. Ensure you back up photos via Google photos, and wipe the phone and install the apps from the apps store. Second set all apps to 'private' or friends only and disallow location for all social apps.

Do you recognize all of the apps on the phone? Other things to think about: how often do you leave your phone alone? Is find my iPhone enabled? Who has access to your iCloud account? So, I noticed my iPhone got really slow suddenly. And I didn't recognize some of the logins listed when I checked my Google activity. Have I been hacked? Or am I paranoid? I’ve been reading up on how to check if I have been hacked, but I would like to hear from you guys.
Other signs, I’ve found out, could include an increase in spam, strange popups, and apps opening on their own. That does not happen to me. So, how do I know for sure? What other signs should I look for?
And another thing, what to do when you've been hacked? Articles on the internet state that it’s good in these situations to:

JFC please God, stop these posts. NOBODY IS TRYING TO HACK YOUR PHONES This isn't the movies. Be paranoid about your personal information getting stolen from unsecured web-sites and databases in large data breaches. Actual hackers are trying to make money or serve a purpose, neither of witch are achievable by hacking some rando's phone. They are going after companies, governments, political orgs, or MAYBE super-rich people.
