Idk, Its realy easy to conect my mx4s to LG tv, but I havent tried on samsung. Your headphones would also have problem with buetooth beacuse tv conect works on buetooth. And its also all automatic. Firstly you need to be sure that your headphones are not conected to any device, than you turn on your tv and it will show you notification.

YES - I've connected WF-1000XM4 with Samsung 'The Frame 2022' Smart QLED TV simply by putting XM4's into pairing mode while the TV searches for devices in the Bluetooth Sound Settings screen. RESULT - Zero latency issues (so far) and the sound performance is MUCH better than expected. 🤯 BONUS - because XM4's are connected to the TV's One Connect Box - all attached HDMI devices (e.g XBox Series, Nintendo Switch, etc) inherit Bluetooth audio ... even the Xbox recognises and enables Dolby Atmos and Spatial Surround capabilities. Took me a while to work out but it's actually very easy...go to Source, Connection Guide, Audio device & Bluetooth on your smart TV (May vary on TV model)
1) Make sure your WF-1000XM3 earphones are charged (no need to download an app if just using with Samsung TV.
2) Take earphones out of case, put in ears and hold fingers over the touch panels on the earphones for 7 seconds (make sure you are right next to the TV)
3) Pop up with appear on TV with device name, select it and you're paired.
This may have to be done each time you use them, but once you know how it's easy...Shane it took me an hour to figure it out as the earphone instructions are pretty shoddy.

Hey there,
so yesterday I was shocked that I wasn't able to connect my XM4 headphone to my Samsung TV anymore. I searched the internet for a solution and found out, that I am not the only one facing the same issue:

Factory reset of both devices didn't work and changing settings on the Sony mobile app had no effect. My Sony app setting is priorizing a stable connection instead of sound quality, but that didn't help. There was nothing I could do to make my XM4 working on my Samsung TV.
So I tried something that noone would probably normally to. I paired my old EP650 bluetooth headphone with my TV and while being connected to it I connected my XM4 to my TV, accepting the notification message that popped up, that says the bluetooth device is going to change. After this direct switch from my old headphones to the XM4 the problem was gone.
Shutdown my XM4 reconnected again > no crash while pairing Shutdown my TV and reconnected my XM4 > no crash while pairing
I hope this solution will work for other people too.
