Hello folks, my dad lost his phone in Turkey, and he, unfortunately, did not have a passcode on his device. We are worried about the thieves basically stealing all the data. Is there a way to lock out and wipe the device? I'm an android user and don't know anything. Would be extremely grateful. It was an iphone 10 device and contained almost all his passwords, etc.
Edit 1: i tried accessing my dad's apple account from Pakistan and it shows that the apple ID has been locked for security reasons. Do I go ahead and unlock it?

To cut a long story short, my phone was stolen and they have locked my phone and icloud. I can’t log into or unlock my icloud because it sends a verification code to the phone number (my stolen phone).
Is there any way around this? I have literally lost everything

u/moonluvrrr , -call your carrier and block the Number / disable that (e)SIM Card (1) -go/follow throught the recovery process as outlined in the article below (2) https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204915 PS: last year my better half had her iphone stolen at the grocery store. We followed the 2 steps mentioned in this reply and regained access to her account, got a replacement SIM Card in the mail (we dont' use esim, though with esim the process would have been even faster) which we then used on her new/replacement iphone.
