Wanting to get a depit card for my boys
We went with capital one for our kids. But that’s our primary bank so it was very easy to add. They have their own log ins, I can see everything. The older kids have Zelle. We’ve been very happy with everything. More on reddit.com

Is there a bank account I can open for my teen, that allows him to have a debit card and online banking that I also monitor? (Not chime or cash app)
Major banks offer teen or high school checking accounts, you’re required to be a signer on the account and be a guide for them while they learn how banking works. Chase requires you to already bank with them or have an account of your own, WF doesn’t and I’m not sure about BofA but I know they have one. During the summer time they have promos for back to school, your kid might be able to get like a $50 bonus for the account. More on reddit.com

Best debit card for teenager (US)
Many banks offer free checking accounts for teens with no minimum balance. Open one at the same place where you do your own banking. Add yourself as an authorized signer, so you can see the account when you login and can easily transfer money back and forth. The spending limit is then simply how much money is in the account. Sometimes it'll hit $0. That's okay. More on reddit.com
