Hi,
Can you guys confirm if this feature will be available one day for console players ?
I feel im fighting shadows when it come to not loose momentum , this feature is available for controller player and pc player , there is a possibility for this feature to be available for console players who use mouse and keyboard ?

I keep meaning to make a post documenting all the ways first-party support for double-movement from Epic (a setting) would be better, even on PC. Having to learn the little bugs and how to work around them ain't exactly a great experience. Fingers crossed for you bro, I used to play KBM on PS4 and if I showed you the setup I used for double-movement you'd laugh your ass-off :) (tl;dr: I used a lashed-together setup involving cardboard and wire, where I held down a pedal and it pulled the left-stick of a physical controller downwards by just the right amount to not trigger "input-swapping" - they made a nerf that made it incredibly finicky to keep it working consistently).

It's not a feature, it's a 3rd party app that remaps your movement. So no, it will not be on console.

You need both custom diagonals in game and on Keys2Xinput. Install keys2x as normal but make sure you don't unbind wasd as it says in the instructions. basically just set up custom diagonals with these settings in game:
Diagonal: 59
Strafe: 72
Now set up keys2x with 59.99 diagonal up and strafe at 89.35 (didn't try the exact cutoff point but its very close to 90).
Now you should move full speed when strafing and its pretty close to 90 degrees too.

I’m switching to KBM from console and I’ve heard about double movement and I also see the settings in Fortnite. But what is it? And do I still need some extra software to get it or can ai get it with just the settings in the game? Thanks.

You don't need software anymore, not since the last LAN. There's a few different opinions on optimal settings. I found 59 diagonal allows me to go from forward>Diagonal>sideways without slowing down at all. Most use 60 for the same reason but in my experience, it leads to occasional slow downs for some reason. 76 is the furthest you can go sideways with strafing without slowing down. So with 59 diagonal & 76 strafe, you can run full speed going virtually left>diagonal left>straight>diagonal right>virtually right, all without slowing down. Backwards doesn't matter to most, they just stick with the default 135.

Basically double movement lets you look in one direction and move in another. So for example, you can look left while moving forward. This helps a lot with tarping, piece control, and building in general. And no, you don't need extra software, the in-game settings suffice.
