App Store>Updates>Purchased
- View the apps you deleted
- Find the app which about the same size with NULL app or version that match to the "Null" version
- Download the app again
- Remove it again and delete the cache

I have same problem.. i can't find a lot about it on internet. I think its a bug or something. I also had a problem with my iphone. My phone was shutting down after 4 or more hours without using. Only way to turn it on was with a 'hard' reboot. The reboot was necessary for 2 or 3 times en then de phone was working ok for a couple of days. Maybe 'null' has something te do with that? My only solution for now was clean complete iphone with iTunes, put on latest version of iOS (9.0.1) en replace the back-up of most things. For now 'Null' is gone and i hope my shut down problem also.

Same problem. (null) app in list that can't be deleted, by either means of trying to delete it. Rebooting doesn't fix it either. Only option appears to be a full factory reset, which is completely unacceptable because many of my apps have perishable app state that would be completely lost. (Read: consumable in-app purchases and other acquired in-game currency that cannot be stored or transferred.) Apple must fix this.

I had the same issue with my Netflix app. The only way to remove the null app was to do a system restore. Since then I have been proceeding cautiously with my ATV4 in terms of customization, in case I have to do another system restore in the near future.

I had a similar issue just now after upgrading my iPad 3 to iOS9 but was due to a NewsStand App. Fixed it using a combination of the comments inRe: "Null" app can't be deletedRetracing my steps:1. Upgraded to iOS92. As 'NewsStand' has been discontinued a new Folder with all my old NewsStand Apps appeared.3. As I had no more need for these deleted all these apps & folder4.
