Look up for Elo Rating. Basically if you score more than someone who has more rating than you, then you earn more points. If you score less than someone who has less points than you, then you loose more. Minimal change if you score more/less than a person of same rating. More on reddit.com

Honestly, 1100 rating after solving 300+ leetcode problems is on the lower side. Your strategy seems fine, but maybe you're the taking all that you can from questions. Maybe you give little time the questions and then jump to the editorials, leave that habit, sit with questions a while. More on reddit.com

I become pupil just by grinding 1400 and seeing the soltuion in 20 minutes if dont come up with idea. I also abused div3 and div4s but i suck at solving div2Cs. Do i keep using the same strategy and solving only harder problems like 400++ my rating.

I (1633) always check editorials in 20 minutes max, not saying that it's the best approach or anything just stating my strategy. But I always ensure to completely understand the solution and how that solution could be thought of. Just start practicing 1400-1500 rated problems you'll get there Also I'd advise you to complete atleast 70% of searching and sorting portion of cses

It won't affect your rating if you participate in dead contests. Rating will only comes to affect once you start participating in live contests
