Hi,
Seem some 2nd Gen airpods at a local auction. I plan to check the item out in person before bidding. Its no good just seeing if they pair with my phone and work, I guess i need to test the charging mechanism too. I'm new to all this (only had Beats Headphones). I need to check if the actual case charges (how can you tell?) and also if the airpods charge within the case (when the case isn't charging - how can you tell?)..Anything else?

I just got the new AirPods and literally the day of I dropped the case in water. I grabbed it immediately after it fell in, dried it off and everything seemed fine. However I’m not sure the case charges anymore, but to be honest I can’t tell. When I plugin the case whether the AirPods are in or not the indicator turns orange, but on my phone I don’t see any charging symbol by the case and the charge percentage doesn’t seem like it’s going up. Someone told me that that’s normal and as long as it turns orange it’s fine but the battery percentage of the case itself not going up worries me. Everything else works perfectly though, with the case charging the AirPods just fine. Can anyone help me figure out what’s going on?
