Diagonal/angled hardie plank siding rather than vertical or horizontal, new front door, remove shutters, update front steps to something mcm style. Add large angled windows where there’s space and budget for it, or instead of large windows you could do some at the top like this: ETA: neutral exterior color with a different, darker color for the window trim, you can also make it look a lot more mid century with the right landscaping, especially with that stone wall. Do some gravel or stone walkways, minimalistic plants, a maple or juniper tree, some slatted fencing painted to complement the color you repaint the house or left natural and stained

That's not a MCM house. MC, perhaps, but not MCM. As for the question...it all comes down to budget. New door/new paint can go a long way, though.
