How in the world can you connect Bose QC Ultras to Windows?

Unfortunately, Bluetooth on windows laptops, especially corporate laptops have been a problem forever. I hope Bose tries to do something about it. But the real issue is most people just blame the headphones because that makes sense and we don’t assume the possibility of windows being an issue. A solution to your problem: You can get a USB Bluetooth dongle from Amazon or local electronics store and then pair your headphones to it. That should work seamlessly. More on reddit.com

I just bought the QC ultras secondhand, and as I’m trying to hold the bluetooth button to pair them to my phone, it’s not blinking blue like it should but it’s staying solid white. It won’t show any other color than that. The earbuds themselves don’t make nah noise when put in ear either. And factory resetting/hard resetting it doesn’t work to begin with, it doesn’t reset anything and the white light is still there. Any help would be appreciated

Have you tried connecting/pairing with the phone using the Bose app. I have QC ultras and normally find the pairing easier when I am on the app

Put your buds in the case, Press and Hold the back button for 2 seconds or until light flashes on case. And then select QC Buds from your bluetooth settings on your PC.

I picked up a pair of QC ultras today for gym use to replace my AirPods Pros. I'm about to return these things. Seriously, what is it with Bose and the WORST bluetooth experience on the planet? Soundlink is awful with bluetooth as well.

They're working fine with my phone, but I'm wondering how I can connect them to my PC. Entering pairing mode via the button on the right cup, it'll show up under bluetooth devices on my PC, but refuse to connect. Entering pairing mode via the "add device" option in the Bose app on my phone, it'll connect as "LE- Bose QuietComfort Ultra" as an other device and not a selectable audio device. I cannot output any audio to them this way. I have been spamming the bluetooth button on the right cup, constantly listening to that stupid cello sound, and listening to the atrocious AI voice spell out my PC name over and over but no luck.

It's not mandatory that I get them working with my PC, but I'd like to. I typically use Hifiman HE400i w/ FiiO E10k DAC, but my gf games next to me sometimes and she uses a Bose Soundlink for audio. Open back headphones with the background noise isn't the best, so I'd like to be able to use ANC with the QCs sometimes.

Any suggestions?

Windows is and has always been an absolute nightmare in terms of Bluetooth make sure you have hands-free telephony turned off
