I recently signed up for a Tangerine Mastercard. I also have my main RBC banking account connected with this Tangerine account. Today I was a little disappointed to discover that I could not move money directly from my RBC savings account to my Tangerine Mastercard to pay off the balance. Instead, it seems as if I must engage in the tedious process of moving money from my RBC account to my Tangerine savings account and then finally to my Mastercard balance.
I'm wondering if there is any way around this, or if anyone has found a way to make this process easier? I only ask because the last time I tried moving money from RBC to Tangerine via EFT it took 2-3 days for the money to leave RBC, 1 day for the money to show up in Tangerine, 5 days of my money just sitting in my account on hold. Throw in a weekend in the middle and it was 10+ days before I could even do anything with the money in my Tangerine account. Add in the time for it to move to my Mastercard when I try to make a payment...just seems to take forever and the last thing I want is to miss a payment because of this lengthy process.
If anyone has any thoughts or experiences let me know.

You should be able to "pay bills" through your RBC online banking. Add Tangerine Master Card there as a new payee and pay directly. Still takes a couple of days, but it's just one click away and no waiting for money to settle as it happens after EFT.

You can probably set up pre authorized deposit every month. Just call tangerine and ask about it.
