If you turn one into its socket and you see its off of 3 and 9, thats when you use that little adjustment screw and re align to 3 and 9. The problem your having is an LED is a panel not a filament inside a bulb, so it can only emit light out the one side, where a filament emits 360 degrees out the bulb.
