Kiosk not finding photos on customer's phone
I’ve noticed the kiosks don’t recognize older phones (like I’ve had a couple iPhone 4’s and 5’s and their pics do not come up), if it’s on the cloud, if it’s sent in a text message and not actually saved, if it’s on google photos on an android and not “gallery”, and sometimes for a reason I can’t figure out. Usually will have them screenshot the photos and if there’s too many photos and they don’t want to screenshot them (like 60+ photos) I will redirect them to the app or website and send the photos from there. Especially also if they’re older and don’t even understand the concept of screenshotting. They will ask me “what’s that” “how do I do that” and just tell them the app might be easier for them More on reddit.com

The best way, is to go to walgreen.com and do it through there and select the store to pick it up. I have tried to help a customer today but I was having an issue with the kiosk. For me, that will be the best option. More on reddit.com

Is anyone else extremely annoyed by these? Sure most people can use them as they’re meant to be used but a lot of the time I end up basically needing to order people’s photos on there for them which essentially defeats the purpose. I don’t even mind that a lot of the time as long as I’m not the only one up front but my tipping point this week was having to explain for 20 minutes that we cannot print a video.

With that being said I have used Walmart, Walgreens and Shutterfly online for a couple of years now for printing my photos and of course I have a Kodak printer too, if I happen to have enough color ink and photo paper at the time. But I haven't had any problems uploading and then picking up or getting shipped to me from any of those places.
