Is vídeo more of a Spaniard dialect?
I know it's "supposed" to be pronounced video, with emphasis on the de, vi-DE-o. However, I just saw a video where the dude pronounces it as VI-di-o. This is a lot closer to my native Portuguese which would be VI-dio (not how it's actually spelled).
It doesn't seem to be a fluke since he pronounces it the same way later in the video. Is this a matter of accent? The video is from a Spanish Youtube Channel. Here's the link
