Open the Action menu and click View Bid Analytics or View Ask Analytics to show the analytics display at the bottom of the Option Chain tool. This display offers a profit and loss diagram that includes maximum profit, maximum loss, and breakeven price at expiration.

When Last is well outside the Bid-Ask range, it usually means that it's old and bogus. Which is what happens then there have been zero trades and OI is 1, as shown. You have to decide how low you're willing to go below Ask. In your example, Last is at least from the previous trading day; if the underlying moved much at all from the previous close, it's noise, not data. More on reddit.com

Thanks for bringing your question to the sub, u/FAWfan . No question is too basic for us here, and I'll be happy to help with some mobile app navigation. When it comes to options trading on the Mobile app, you will find a much more condensed version. You still have the options chain available, but you'll find it by first searching for the underlying symbol or index. After searching for that symbol, you'll see an icon that looks like two chain links, guiding you to the options chain for that specific symbol. Then, to change to another options chain, you'll search for the new symbol and select the chain for it. If you have any additional questions or need further help with navigation, please don't hesitate to ask here. We'll be around all weekend and happy to help. The Greeks are not currently viewable for your open positions using the Fidelity Investments mobile app. However, they are easily accessible by getting a quote for the option you hold. Simply press the bid/ask price in the option chain to view the quote and the Greeks. Additionally, the Greeks can also be viewed in the option chain on our website (also viewable in your mobile browser) and in Active Trader Pro (ATP). When viewing the option chain on Fidelity.com, click the "Settings" link at the top right to add the Greeks as additional columns for the option chain. You can download the most recent version of ATP on Fidelity.com. Once logged into ATP, follow these steps to add the data you're wanting: Go to the "Options" menu and select "Option Chain" Enter a symbol for the option chain Right-click in the option chain column headings area and go to "Add column" or choose "Settings" to add additional columns to the option chain. I'm looking to write covered calls on a stock that I own. If I write 1 options contract, what would my proceeds be? Let's ignore fees for simplicity.
Should I focus on the "Last" price of $3.96 (receiving $396), or the "Bid" price of $4.95 (receiving $495)?
Also, is it generally advisable when selling covered calls to set market or limit orders?

if it's that big of a spread, i'll set my price and see if it fills. i wouldn't chance a market price listing

I feel like a complete idiot asking this but in all fairness I use the website 99.9% of the time. I’ve trying searching options in the app (using the iPad version) and got a list of ways to contact Fidelity.
No matter which icon I click on, I don’t see any option to select options 😉
A navigation or better search tool might help?
