We understand that you have 2 Apple Gift Cards and you are unable to redeem them in Roblox. You would need to first redeem the Gift Cards in the iTunes Store. Once redeemed, you should be able to use the balance to make an in-app purchase in Roblox. More on discussions.apple.com

It definitely will. Assuming you meant by mobile account as in your Roblox account on mobile, because there's no such thing as a "mobile account." Your balance will remain the same as the one shown on the web, regardless of platform. Though one thing to note is that you can't claim Roblox credits on mobile, only on the web. What I mean by web is the Roblox website itself; you'll still be able to claim it using your phone through there using the redemption page and use the Buy Robux or Premium page there to buy using Roblox credits, just not on the mobile app. More on reddit.com

I'm a parent and I don't know anything about this. I set up the app to my kid on an android device but other than that I have no clue. Anyway, kid got a gift certificate to get some robux but I don't really know how to use it. Any advise? The instructions on the gift card doesn't make any sense for me. Is there a step by step tutorial for clueless parents out there somewhere?

You just need to redeem the gift card through a web browser, not the app. Log into your child’s Roblox account, enter the code from the card, and confirm. The balance will appear as Robux or credit, which your kid can then use directly in the app.
