You are not meant to, and cannot usually refill all in one coolers like that. It's very unlikely replacing the coolant will do anything anyway. The coolant you bought is for custom waterloops for computers like this You are better off replacing the thermal paste as that's more likely to be the issue. Send back the coolant if you can Because the coolant in an AIO is sealed in a factory and has a lot of additives like anti corrosion etc, it does not require changing, and the thermal conductivity is very very unlikely to have reduced as at the end of the day it is just water. For most AIOs the pump will die well before anything terrible happens to the coolant Answer from hazetoblack on reddit.com

r/buildapc on Reddit: Am I supposed to drain/refill my water coolant for my Corsair Water Cooled CPU pump?
April 28, 2023 -

My CPU temps have been higher than normal recently. I am evaluating all my options and am curious if my cooler needs new liquid.

I looked it up and there are tutorials and whatnot when it comes to draining and replacing the liquid. My Corsair (forget exact model) water cooler is just mainly a fan and radiator that connects two pumps to a metal plate for the CPU.

I have not messed with it since I got it (3 or so years ago). I purchased some water coolant from Corsair on Amazon to refill it. However, is this a mistake? Am I just spending money on something uselsess/scam?

How to tell if AIO is low on liquid / how to refill?
All AIOs get air into them over time thanks to the power of molecules. Unless the AIO specifically has the option to open it up and fill up, it's time to move onto another one. If your temps are suffering, testing to make sure the pump is working, your thermal paste isnt trash, or you have adequate airflow into the radiator are some things you can try before throwing it out. People also ask

What are the bubbles in the water cooling loop?
After filling your loop, small bubbles flow through tubing, collect in water blocks, and cloud the reservoir. Despite their appearance, these bubbles are normal and will dissipate naturally. Air expelled from microfins and radiator tubes forms tiny bubbles, which migrate to the reservoir's upper air pocket. Setup quirks like the Heatkiller Tube 200 DDC may prolong bubble removal. Larger air pockets can resolve themselves but may need attention.

How do I get rid of vapor lock?
To prevent vapor lock, use a larger opening to facilitate easy exchange of coolant and air. Bubbles should rise smoothly out of the top, not get trapped. A standard funnel can help by allowing air to escape around the edges with slight lifting, though it requires manual handling. Adding an extra port at the reservoir's top solves vapor lock by separating paths for coolant and air, ensuring smooth coolant flow and air displacement. Incorporating a manual exhaust fitting high in the loop effectively releases trapped air as coolant is poured, ensuring an effortless exit path.

What is meant by vapor lock?
Vapor lock, or air lock, occurs in closed liquid systems when trapped air prevents liquid from entering. This happens if the air cannot escape quickly enough while liquid is being added. Even in an ideal setup, pouring coolant into a reservoir too quickly can block air from escaping, creating bubbles as the liquid gradually displaces the air. If the exit path is too narrow, this equilibrium may not occur smoothly.

Filling and bleeding your PC's water cooling system.
July 5, 2024 - At this point you’ll need to use the pump in your loop to move the coolant out of the reservoir and into the system. The most common way to do this is to use the power supply in the PC to power the pump. This works perfectly well and it’s usually a convenient way to do it. Remember though: since this is the first time the system has actually had liquid in it, we can’t know for sure if we have any leaks.
