Okay I know what you're thinking... I'm not a thief. I bought a hoodie (and several other t-shirts) from a nerdy specialty store in LA about a week ago. I live on the east coast but I visit this store every time I fly out to visit family because their stuff is so cool.
Problem is, this time the clerk left the security puck tag thing on the collar of the hoodie. I think what happened is, they have "sample" display clothing out on the racks with the security device, and then get one of the product from the back when you bring it up to the register. This time, the clerk said something like "oh actually you're getting the last one of these this time"... but forgot to remove the security tag from the "sample".
Here are some pics of what it looks like.
I read online you can freeze it? So the ink doesn't shoot out if you try to force it apart? I tried contacting their help line but they haven't got back to me in several days and I don't have my receipt (only my bank statement from that day).
