What should I do if Bluetooth won't turn off on my Samsung TV?
Can I turn off Bluetooth on my Samsung TV to save energy?
How can I prevent unauthorized Bluetooth access to my Samsung TV?
Hi people, I'm a sad owner of a Samsung QN90A and like all its owners I can't use bluetooth headphones and similar things AT ALL.
As you can also read here https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/tv/50-quot-qn90a-firmware-update-broke-bluetooth-transmitter/td-p/6586784 the Bluetooth is broken since a late 2022 update, on many models and has never been fixed since.
Please share the news, Samsung needs to be held accountable and fix the issue. With their system that forces updates even to people that have the automatic ones disabled, they must not do this shit.
LATEST EDIT AND UPDATE: the software update below did nothing to the Bluetooth problem. Samsung come on, wake up!
Unbelievable update: I just checked on the website and as you can see the latest version is still 2130.8:

But I turned the TV on and:

Last check for an update YESTERDAY August 7th, then I wrote many posts online about the Bluetooth problem and now an update (2141) available OTA on the TV itself. Talk about coincidences...
I'll be able to check if the Bluetooth problem has been solved only in about 10 hours, but this is a great start. Cheers!
Model AU7100.
Paired my Bluetooth headphones yesterday for the first time and regretting it! I can't seem to get the TV to unpair and the headphones won't pair with any other devices if the TV is on, even if I decline to connect.
Bluetooth Speaker List shows the headphones but no option to unpair or delete. External Device Manager doesn't show them (can delete other devices here). I don't have a "Connections" tab in the settings like most of the online guides suggest.
If I go to Sound Output from the home page using the quick settings, I can unpair but not delete. As soon as I turn my headphones on it wants to connect again so this isn't a solution.
Looking to turn bluetooth off on our CU7000 Samsung Tv’s. Deployed some in a environment and people are constantly attempting to connect to them and changing phone names to something inappropriate. Have gone through settings and the additional Samsung Service menu and do not see any options for bluetooth off.
Have tried different versions of firmware as well for different Samsung service menu’s and even with the different versions no luck.
If anyone knows anything please me know. If additional info is needed i can provide.
Thanks!
