Currently as per my experience in Windows 10:

Win + Down Arrow
Minimize The Maximized Window
Win + Down Arrow (twice)
Maximize The Restored Window
Win + Up Arrow

What is the keyboard shortcut to minimize a window to the taskbar?
Having trouble with search results for what I'm hoping to find. Perhaps there isn't a solution but figured this might be a good place to ask.
I use a web based platform for work that uses multiple browser windows, all sized and positioned to fit together on one screen.
I found the shortcut to minimize all apps (windows key + m) but can't find the shortcut to restore them back simultaneously to the desktop at without having to click all 5 or 6 of them separately.
(Searching restore all windows seems to only give me search results for erroneously closed web tabs/windows... not minimized windows)
Ideally I would like a way to isolate the browser specifically rather than all apps, but I'll be happy with either solution.
I should note that being corporate issued equipment, installing programs to accomplish this isn't an option.
Never mind, there's a setting for that.
Window -> Behavior -> (System Menu Appears on Alt+SPACE checkbox)
On windows, there are specific keyboard shortcuts that help in window behavior. A few that I know are :
- window key + up = Maximize
- window key + down = Restore Down/Undo Maximize + Minimize (for bringing back the window after minimizing, use Alt + tab)
- window key + right = Split to right half
- window key + left = Split to left half
I know WindowsKey + Down Arrow is supposed to do this but I have to hit this shortcut twice because my window first snaps to the bottom quarter of the screen before finally being minimized to the taskbar.
I want the window to do the exact same thing as when I click the horizontal line (minimize button) at the top right-hand corner of the window. Is there a different keyboard shortcut for this?
Hi. For some reason, I have a habit of accidentally closing my browser window when I'm cleaning up my desktop. I then have to reopen it and navigate to the menu, then to the history tab, then to the restore previous session button. I was wondering if there was a shortcut to do this? Or otherwise a way to set a shortcut? I just switched to Firefox after using various Chromium browsers for a long time, and ctrl-shift-t would both reopen closed tabs and restore the previous session.
