A question about Texas Instruments TI-84 calculator's window settings for Math AA HL
no, you just have to estimate the window settings depending on the question. I have the exact same calculator and I just adjust whenever needed More on reddit.com

how to find an unknown limit on ti 84 Plus CE
The CE is not really designed for this sort of math. You'd want a calculator with CAS. Just curious what answer is the numerical solver giving you? If you enter a different number for 'Guess' does it find a different answer? More on reddit.com

Domain Restrictions on TI-84 Calculator Explained
If it stops at a point, use that exact value. Domain = left to right = x-values. Range = bottom to top = y-values. Once you remember that, you can find the domain and range of any graph.

r/IBO on Reddit: A question about Texas Instruments TI-84 calculator's window settings for Math AA HL
December 28, 2022 -

I have a problem with my GDC. In our school for AA HL Math we are using the Texas Instruments TI-84 plus and i can't understand if I messed something up myself or was it the student that used it before me, but pretty much every time that I'm trying to graph something it just does not show up. When it does it's usually super big or super small. I'm guessing that I have the wrong Window settings on. Any tips for the “best” window settings soo I don't have to always change them and actually focus on my questions on paper not the settings of my calculator. :)

r/TI_Calculators on Reddit: how to find an unknown limit on ti 84 Plus CE
October 24, 2024 -

URGENT!!

I have an unknown limit, m. I am trying to solve m such that

fnInt(arccos(x), x, 0, m) = 0.5

m=0.360. Can my ti 84 plus ce do this? If so, what are the specific commands? I tried using Numeric Solver under math, but the ans is still wrong.

additionally the next part of the question is to solve for another unknown variable, a, such that
fnInt(arccos(x), x, 0.360-a, 0.360+a) = 0.3

the ans is a=0.125. I am trying to find an easier way to just instantly solve this as it would really help me during exams instead of taking time to integrate by parts and substitute. Please let me know if ther eis any solution!
