This is the right click key and will right click on selections too.
Let me know if you have. Almost all keyboards have this key, but I'm not sure if you do as you have said you do not have a right click button on your keyboard. So if it is this key you are referring to then this option is obviously not available to you. I had to check though.
Also, you say Shift + F10 does not work? Shift + F10 does EXACTLY the same thing as the Right Click button on a keyboard. You have said this does not work for you? Can I ask why this doesn't work? It should work since the actions are identical to the right click key.

Hi Neil,
I do not have right click button on keyboard.
I checked further why Shift + F10 was not working for me. A software had that hotkey. I launched that software, changed its hotkey settings to something different than Shift + F10 within software, and closed the software window.
After that I tried using Shift + F10 on desktop and other applications, and it worked fine this time. Thank You Neil !!
Laptop: How to hold a right click?
Any laptop I've used you can just push and hold the right click button on/below the touchpad with your thumb and then move your finger around to "drag" whatever you need to drag. More on reddit.com

November 1, 2020Is there a way I can left click on laptop touchpad while holding down right click?
The laptop market has evolved beyond productivity and is now in a 'give me w/e review site says good' phase. I assume the one click at a time touchpad is in part a hardware limitation, since most pads without visible buttons can depress once for only a single click/drag. For software, factory touchpad firmware for my HP does not support region or tap triggered, virtual clicks while the previous one is still being held. So in these cases, that means no using touchpad for aiming down sights and shooting in games. That leaves models with physical pad buttons. Asus TUF models did have pad buttons during Intel 11th gen; can't get a full list since Asus' site geoblocks me from their US stock. At least some current Lenovo ThinkPads also have pad buttons. Set it up for tap control? Like, 2 finger tap = right click. I'm assuming Windows. Settings/Devices/Touchpad. Then, make sure "Tap with two fingers to right-click" is checked. More on reddit.com
