Just put it on Kijiji, as long as it's reasonably priced someone will pick it up within a week or two. I would typically just toss stuff into the garbage rooms but a nice friend went out of their way to post a sofa of mine on Kijiji (I was going to leave it in the garbage area) because it was relatively new and clean. Someone brought a pickup and took it within a week. We spent the money out drinking and having a good dinner. Have done it a few times now for bigger items when I last moved from a condo in the core into a house. Also consider putting it on the building site or for sale postage near the mail boxes. Heck the building I used to live in had a super who would take some of the lightly used stuff. He used to take all the beer and wine bottles too. He said he'd sell bottles to LCBO and give the other stuff to friends or family that has recently moved to the country. I gave him a study table and he was super thankful. So if you're just looking to get rid of it maybe give it to someone who needs it? The only thing I'd say is arrange for a pickup when over if the nicer security is there. They create less of a fuss about using the move elevator without much notice than others. More on reddit.com

Marketplace does best for me, but it has to be priced right. Most people want yard sale type prices for furniture. If you want it gone, price it low. More on reddit.com
