A while ago a customer asked to perform a western union transaction, with them not knowing much English and me not knowing how to speak Spanish, I had to communicate using text to speech. I called my manager to ask how to do a western union and they told me they haven’t performed one in years and to just tell the customer that our WU service was down for maintenance. The only “training” related to Western Union I received was watching the CBL that explains how to spot a scam in a Western Union transaction.

You have to turn the key and select western union on the main menu and then select either send or recieve. Either way they have to have either completed the transaction online or on the WU app and type in their phone number into the key pad. It will not work any other way.
