Exported QGIS map to DXF but setting the location in Autocad does not sync up at all? both dxf and autocad location i used WGS84 : ESPG 3857... How do i go about it so that my "sabah" map syncs up to the basemap in autocad.... alternatively can i export basemaps from QGIS to Autocad directly?
IMO DXF does not support lat/long (geographic) coordinate systems. You need to use projected coordinates. You can export map from QGIS to any raster format that support setting coordinate reference system than xref it to autocad (Civil3d). Native Autocad has very limited functionality regarding georeferencing etc. You can also import SHP file to autocad (Civil3d). More on reddit.com

AutoCAD 2025 allows users to assign a specific coordinate format that reflects the system used when creating the drawing. For example, if your drawing relies on UTM with Zone 27 and uses US Survey Feet, you would designate it with the code UTM-27F. This step ensures your mapping is accurate and consistent with geographic standards. Initiate Your Drawing: Open AutoCAD 2025 and create a new drawing file. Ensure that the workspace is set ...

How to Get UTM Coordinates in AutoCAD? – CanadaCAD.ca
To effectively identify a specific position within the UTM system, one must understand how to navigate a map properly. This involves reading from west to east to find the easting value and south to north for the northing value. Establishing the correct coordinate system in your AutoCAD workspace is crucial for accurate mapping. 1. **Open AutoCAD 2025**: Launch the software and create a new drawing. 2. **Access the Coordinate Settings**: Navigate to the ‘Output’ tab and find the ‘Coordinate’ settings under ‘Geolocation’. 3.
