I recently came across a question that many of us might have encountered at some point: "Is it possible to transfer Amazon gift card balance from one account to another?" After doing some research, I found a few methods that might help you with this dilemma.
Method 1: Using Amazon's "Gift of Prime" Feature
One way to transfer your Amazon gift card balance to another account is by utilizing Amazon's "Gift of Prime" feature. Here's how it works:
Log into the account with the gift card balance.
Purchase a Prime membership gift subscription using the gift card balance.
Choose the recipient's email address as the gift recipient (the account you want to transfer the balance to).
Complete the purchase.
Once the recipient receives the gift, they can redeem the Prime membership and the gift card balance associated with it will be transferred to their account. Keep in mind that this method only works if the recipient doesn't already have an active Prime membership.
Method 2: Using Amazon Trade-In
Another option to transfer your Amazon gift card balance is through the Amazon Trade-In program, which allows you to exchange eligible items for an Amazon.com gift card. Here's what you can do:
Visit the Amazon Trade-In program page.
Search for eligible items that you own and are willing to trade in.
Follow the instructions to complete the trade-in process.
Once your trade-in is accepted, you'll receive an Amazon.com gift card in return.
You can then apply this gift card to the desired account by redeeming it.
Keep in mind that not all items are eligible for trade-in, so make sure to check the program's guidelines and requirements.
Method 3: Gift Card Exchange Websites
If the above methods don't suit your needs, you may consider utilizing third-party gift card exchange websites. These platforms allow you to sell or exchange your Amazon gift card balance for cash or for a gift card of a different retailer. Some popular websites for gift card exchange include Raise, CardCash, and Gift Card Granny. However, it's important to note that these platforms often charge fees or offer discounted rates, so be sure to research and compare your options before proceeding.
Remember, it's always a good idea to double-check the terms and conditions of Amazon and any third-party services before attempting any transfers. Additionally, be cautious of potential scams or fraudulent websites that claim to offer gift card transfer services.
I hope these methods help you in transferring your Amazon gift card balance to another account. If you have any additional tips or suggestions, please feel free to share them in the comments!

I recently was waiting for a refund and although I vividly remember selecting that I'd like for my refund to be refunded back to my card, but it went to my gift card balance.
Is it possible that I can buy something with that balance and then just cancel the order, having it refunded to a specific account? I don't use amazon enough to have a gift card at all.
Or is there any other way to have it refunded?
UPDATE: I have contacted amazon through the online customer service and they were able to send the refund to my personal account. I will leave this post up for anyone with a similar question in the future!
