What's the cheapest type of cable / wire for transmitting energy? For some reason the solar flux reborn cables don't work for me. Am I doing something wrong with them? I just have it attached from a capacitor directly to the machine but the capacitor isn't discharging.
Hiya folks,
I am getting to the point where I am hitting a bottleneck for my power transfer with the Parabox using Cyclic Energy Transfer Nodes. I am playing prestige mode and have only unlocked Veinminer and Smeltery, after Hopping Bonsai (of course!).
My question is whether or not there is a better block for transferring wireless power?
Since the Energy Transfer Node is limited to 16k rf/t, I have to either use more nodes with duplicate GPS markers for the Parabox, or directly connect it to my power system. Both are viable, but don't fit well in my current setup.
Thanks in advance!

since im on a server, flux point doesnt work on DE energy ball, is there another solution like the flux transfering to something else so that it goes in the energy ball ? or another wireless or wired solution instead of energy conduits cause those transfer energy very slow. i need around 3 billion rf/t to be transfered.
How can i extract energy from the fission reactor? I produce more than the flux plug can extract, so idk how can i put this energy in a battery
With EnderIO unfortunately missing from the pack, how would I transport power from one dimension to the next?
Things we haven't tried yet:
RFTools
Use case:
We have autocrafted a lot of windmills. Windmills are quite heavy on the client side and we'd like to keep our base clean. So we could either chunkload an area a few chunks off our base or plop them into the hunting dimension.
My preferred way of setting up things is to have some energy storage near every place I want to use it and then cable the energy to the places where it's used. In this case, I tried setting up the workshop near my crafting area (which is not near lava / energy generation.)
So I thought I make a basic energy cube, and use it and fluxducts to power my machines, using the cyclic wireless energy to charge the energy cube. Unfortunately I can't get it to work. I can power the machines directly using wireless, but not charge the energy cube. I can charge the cube using a flux duct from the generator, but not over wireless. I spent more time yesterday fiddling with the cube, adding a piece of cable on top of it as an energy antenna, and other foolish things, than I want to think about.
It's now time to ask the Reddit hive mind, can you please help or should I just skip the energy cube and charge the machines directly, or even go charge the cube from the generator directly when it runs out.
The simple generators are a good early game RF source but once you get more advanced, use the nuclear reactors or solar panels.
Fully upgrade at least 9 culinary gens with speed modifiers then build a massive pig farm (With a spawner you can craft) using mob mashers that have fire aspect, sharpness, and looting upgrades. If you do it right, you will get hundred if not thousands of cooked porkchops just lying there. Wire up a vacuum hopper to the culinary generators. If you did it correctly, the spawner that you placed (Also, put a dragon egg in the spawner with some sugar, ghast tears, fermented spider eye and clocks) will spawn pigs (Because the spawners in minecraft default to pigs) and the pigs will die on the mob mashers. The vacuum hopper will suck the items up and put the cooked porkchops into the culinary generators, which will produce stupid amounts of power.
Hey people, just wondering if anyone has any tips for power generation in sky factory 4. I’m currently running a Simulation chamber, with a a Generator that burns coal (integrated dynamics) and an Upgradable Combustion Generator(simple generators) with a solar panel on top and it constantly tells me that the energy levels are critical and I’m not producing enough power. Just curious to see if I’m being an idiot and using low tier generators or if this is an issue for others. I have plenty of Osmium and other Fairly late game materials, so anything that’s better would be great.
Skyfactory 4 is the first time I've played with the Mekanism mod, and for the life of me I cannot find any sort of energy transfer pipes/wires/cables. It seems there's supposed to be "Universal Cables" in mekanism, but I can't craft them. Were they removed/disabled in this mod pack?
Is there any way to transfer energy (large amounts) through dimensions? I'm building a Fusion Reactor and I need a way to get the energy to the overworld
Ok so i was moving my ME system and since its far away i was trying to use the energy transfer nodes that are wireless, and every time i mark one of the nodes with a GPS marker, and put it in the other, it says the block is "Minecraft air", I used it before to power an other machine and it worked, so I don't know what went wrong here.
