Laptop is charged and off.
There is nothing, no button, no sensor or anything in between the screen and the keyboard.
There is nothing on the left and right sides of the keyboard, only ports.
The top-right most key on the keyboard is blank. I thought this might be the power, but I've pressed it, held it for varying amounts of time, to no avail.
Since nothing so far has worked I suspect the power might be sensor/fingerprint-activated, but I don't know where I would have to touch in that case, and for how long.
I have turned the laptop on before, but I don't remember how.
I would share a photo, but I'm on my phone and can't send anything on reddit mobile browser.

Have you tried all this with it plugged into power? Battery might be dead.

Power button is the blank key on the top right of the keyboard. If it's the actual model series I'm thinking of, it's going to require a motherboard replacement. I am familiar with the actual issue, but I cannot disclose the information.

Have you taken the bottom cover off yet to see if the battery is plugged in? I saw a post I guess about a week ago where someone was having issues with the battery not charging on a new Dell laptop and the issue ended up being that the battery was not plugged in. Not sure if this may be the solution for your issue, but it's worth checking out. More on reddit.com
