I’ve received an update CC with a new expiration date and cvv. Do I need to delete the old card in AppleWallet or will the info update automatically from the bank once I activate the new card?

I had to replace my broken credit card and now I have a new cvv number and expiration date. After activating the new card (same account), I got notified on my phone that my payment info needs to be updated for my icloud subscription. Assuming the notification is due to having new cc info (despite the number being the same) and having no other problems with my cc account, I’m unable to edit the info to provide new cvv number and expiration date. It won’t allow me to remove the previous payment method and add a new one because there are active subscriptions but it also won’t let me add a new payment method because it says it’s the same account. Anyone know how I can update it so I can keep my iCloud storage/other subscriptions?
Starting this morning I get an alert that my credit card is about to expire when trying to make in-app purchases. My default card doesn’t expire until 2025 and updates automatically anyway. It also worked fine last night. The alert prompts me to sign in to update my billing information but there’s no way to do that. Plus, I can’t even remove the card and re-add it because I have subscriptions tied to it and it will not allow me to remove it.
My cc expired yesterday. I’ve activated my new card with the same number but a different expiration date.
I can’t seem to amend it?
I tried to remove the old card but it’s linked to subscriptions and I can’t remove it.
I tried to add the new card and I’m told they have the card on file already.
Apple Pay transactions are declined by issuer but I’ve used the physical card today and it works. I phoned my bank and they advised that once my new card is active (which it is) the iphone should auto update to the new expiration date but this doesn’t seem to be the case?
Do anyone have a solution to this matter or any advice on how I can remedy this situation?
