Can't log in to my Spotify for Podcasters app?
The Spotify for Podcasters app was rebranded as Spotify for Creators in November 2024. If you can’t log in, check that your username and password are entered correctly. You can use Spotify’s password reset if you can’t remember your details. You may also have trouble if your old Spotify for Podcasters account uses Anchor account details. To regain access:
- Log in to Spotify for Creators or create an account.
- Select your avatar/the 3 lines in the top-right corner, then Add a new show.
- On mobile, tap the arrow at the bottom of the screen to see this option.
- Select Find an existing show, then Spotify for Creators.
- Search for your podcast’s name or the email address on your Anchor account.
- Check your emails and enter the code to regain access to your podcast.
How much money do podcasts make on Spotify?
Unlike music, Spotify does not typically pay podcasters on a per-stream basis. Instead, podcasters primarily earn money from listener contributions, advertisements, and sponsorships on a cost per thousand impressions (CPM) basis.
Do I need to upload my podcast to each platform separately?
No, you only need to upload your audio to your hosting provider. Platforms like Apple and Spotify will read your RSS feed and update their directories.
I know about the application process for Spotify. They want an RSS feed. I'm using Clean Feed to record the podcast. Is my RSS feed connected to Clean Feed? Do I need to sign up for something else to get an RSS feed?
I'm mainly targeting youtube with some shorts on TikTok and Instagram. I should probably get the audio on Spotify and Apple alsocan anyone tell me the easiest way to do this please?
Hey folks, for Christmas I made a podcast for my girlfriend that is essentially me reading some of her favorite books out loud. She has a long commute to work and is always running out of books to listen to on her way in, and I figured I would be able to skirt copyright law by making the podcast private so only she would be able to listen to it. I thought Spotify had the ability to make a podcast private or public, but it doesn't seem that way now that I am trying to publish it.
In my brief research, it seems there are some platforms which allow the RSS feed to be exported to Spotify, but I was a little overwhelmed by the number of options. Perhaps this is a big ask, but are there any platforms that would allow me to do this for free? And, I suppose more importantly, is what I'm doing legal?
Thanks for all the help in advance, and my apologies for this hastily worded post (I am trying to course-correct before she gets here later today lol)
