Bose Quiet Comfort 35 II (QC35 II) Headphone Questions
How do I connect my Bose QC 35 II bluetooth headphones to mt windows 10 PC or laptop?
Videos
I have a pair of Bose Quiet Comfort 35's and would like to be able to use them on programs like discord. The problem is that they go into communication mode and sound terrible. I understand that there is no way around this in-terms of tampering with settings or whatever, but if I was to purchase a 2.5-mm mic to plug directly into my QC's, would this allow me to use a mic without communication mode enabled?
If not, could someone please recommend a simple, cheap, setup to use a 3rd party mic with the QC's (without having to have communication mode enabled.
Any advice is highly appreciated!

My first question would be, since the headset can pair with multiple devices, how many is it paired with already?
Does the headset show at all, even as an unknown device in the Bluetooth devices?
Are you holding the power button to the right for about 3 seconds to set it in pairing mode. I suppose you know, if you hold the power button to the right for 10 seconds, it clears all prior paired devices.
Do you have any other Bluetooth devices which are working so you can check your Bluetooth radio?
Hey everyone, so I have Bose Quiet comfort 35ii headphones and a DDJ FLX4. I want to connect them to my controller and listen to the next song that plays. Would it be possible with these headphones? If so, how do I connect and configure the settings, like if someone could guide me through the entire quick process. I am a very beginner here. I have tried connecting them but cannot hear the queued song playing in the headphones.
I got a new phone and removed the QC35 II from the old phone.
When I wanted to put the QC35 II into pairing mode (moving the switch on the right all the way to the right) that didn't work. It also didn't work to clear the paired device list as well as to pair using NFC.
It turns out that for some reason the switch does not move far enough to the right to enable the pairing mode. By removing the metal cover on the right side I got direct access to the switch on the board. From there I could move it all the way to the right and got the QC35 II into pairing mode.
I think over time the switch wears out and either needs a complete replacement or some lubrication.
The problem remains, but at least I was able to connect my new phone. Pairing is now possible again over the Bose Connect app.
Thanks! I had this exact same problem and this got mine working again.
Thanks for posting this. I was able to fix mine permanently by filing the switch hole a bit larger with a drill after removing the outside piece.
I thought the button was permanently broken, but seems that over time it can degrade where it just needs to be pushed further to the right side in order to pair properly.
See Start menu > Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices
Also, please have in mind that Bluetooth is its own technology that is separate from Windows, so questions regarding Bluetooth devices are best asked to the Bluetooth device's manufacturer.
