Can I use Google Lens in Chrome on a mobile device?
Yes, you can use Google Lens in Chrome on both Android and iOS devices. Simply tap and hold on an image in Chrome, and select the option to search with Google from the pop-up menu. The Google Lens UI will then appear with information about the image.
Do I need to enable Google Lens in Chrome settings?
There's no special setup required. Google Lens is integrated into Chrome. Right-click on an image (or tap and hold on mobile) and choose the option to search with Google (or Google Lens, depending on your version of Chrome).
Hey guys so I'm trying to get the search image via Google lens option on my chrome. I had a pixel 5 and it had that option (without the "new") I changed to a Samsung S22 and it doesn't haven't. My bf has a Sony Xperia and that's where I got the screenshot from, where it has that option. We have the same version of chrome. I tried to fiddle with chrome flags and that didn't work.
Also, the reason why I want it is because it's easier to translate pics from mangas. Where's without it, I have to download the pics and the. To to Google lens and translate it via that way.
If anyone has any tips to how to help this I would appreciate it 👍
I was wondering if there was a shortcut to use google lens on PC instead of having to click the top right every time I want to use it. I use it basically everyday when I want to copy notes that I can't directly select and if there was a shortcut, it would just make it a lot easier and faster.
Solution:
I have been messaged by u/No-Fun-9469 and the closest thing to a shortcut they have found (and that I believe is the best one mentioned) is pressing alt+f which opens the options menu in the top right, then pressing s which activates Google Lens. If done fast enough, it is basically a shortcut.
