- Add Kali Linux Repositories to Ubuntu:
echo "deb http://http.kali.org/kali kali-rolling main contrib non-free" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/kali.list
2.Add Kali GPG Key:
wget -q -O - https://archive.kali.org/archive-key.asc | sudo apt-key add -
3.Update APT package list: sudo apt update
4.Install Specific Kali Tools: sudo apt install amass
If you only want to install a few tools and avoid potential future conflicts, you can remove the Kali repositories after installing the tools:
Remove Kali Repositories After Installation (Optional):
sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/kali.list
Update APT:
sudo apt update

1)Using snap to Install Tools
Some tools can be installed via snap, which is a universal package manager:
Install using snap: `sudo snap install amass --classic`
2)Use Katoolin:
Katoolin is a script that simplifies the process of installing Kali Linux tools on Ubuntu:
Install Katoolin:
sudo apt install python3 python3-pip
sudo pip3 install katoolin
Run Katoolin: sudo katoolin

Amass in-depth DNS enumeration and network mapping tool can be installed without enabling any potentially unsafe additional repositories by installing the amass snap package with the following command.

To start Amass from the terminal type the command amass
Subcommands:
amass intel - Discover targets for enumerations
amass enum - Perform enumerations and network mapping

I see people always talking about kali-Linux, so I gave it a download, and I cant for the life of me understand the tools it comes with. Anybody got a guide or tutorial of some sort?

The tools that are pre-installed aren't necessarily Kali specific, you could install them on any distro. Therefore there isn't a guide to -all- the tools that come with it. However, there are tons of guides for each specific tool if you look for them. There are books that cover pen-testing with Kali if you wanted to start there. Such as Basic Security Testing with Kali Linux 2 and Kali Linux Cookbook. I can't say if any of these are any good though.

Pick up"The Linux Command Line" and "Hacker Playbook 2". Offsec does the "Metasploit Unleashed" online for free. Just plug it in and start using it!

I've been trying to get into linux for a couple of days via virtualbox, the tutorials i see have an outdated version of kali. I would like to be an ethical hacker but how can i start (i'm still in high school)? i've heard that you can learn to ethically hack with Kali linux, and I would really love to get into it, do you guys have any suggestions? what could i do? it would be lovely to receive some help! ;) Thanks

Maybe start by learning how things work in Fedora or Ubuntu. A hacker is someone with good knowledge of operating systems and programming.
