I use expand quite often. But only because I work with ancient people with ancient headshots that are so close up. They can’t find the original files so I have no wider angles to fit into frames. It generally works for that use. Magic write is eh rn. Better options elsewhere. Grab has been glitchy for me but I haven’t really had a use for it Eraser I like when it works properly

I use it all the time! Mainly the "BG Remover" and the "Magic Edit" features. I find the others don't work so well in actually serving their purpose and just create more work. I create a lot of detailed graphics for work and am currently planning my wedding, so I'm making a ton of my own materials for that using Magic Edit. I needed a lot of images that looked like watercolor paintings; for example, we'll be sending out a personalized save the date with a watercolor painting of our venue. While I have (what at least I like to think) is pretty impressive digital design skills, my hand artistry is another story. You can obviously pay for an artist to create these for you through Etsy, but I used the Magic Edit instead and generated AI art. I upload the images I need, go to the Magic Edit feature, instruct it to "turn this into a watercolor painting" and go from there. It's not always perfect, and a lot of times I have to go back into the instructions and finetune, adding details like "using only pastel colors", but I think the results I've gotten are pretty awesome and will work fine for the intended purpose. I also wanted to create a 'wedding map" for guests, which outlines the event locations for the weekend since we're having a destination wedding. Again, had no business trying to draw out the topography myself, so I went into Google Earth, eliminated all labels on the area (roads, bridges, etc.), screenshotted it, and asked Magic Edit to turn the Google Earth image into a watercolor painting. It turned out awesome! But again, it's definitely still in the development stages - you'll get some totally-off results.

Edit Images with Magic Edit | Canva AI Course
Enter a descriptive prompt like “change shirt to green”, “add a sunrise over the mountains”, or “turn this into a watercolor painting”. Hit Generate and review your results. Which variation did you prefer, and how closely did the AI fulfill your request? If the outcome wasn’t ideal, try adjusting your prompt or selection to see how it changes. This lesson builds on your growing skills with Canva’s Magic Studio tools, showing you how to use AI for creative, localized edits without needing advanced design knowledge.
