Hello! The .exe is found in \Tower Of Fantasy\Hotta\Binaries\Win64\QRSL.exe However, the game uses a fullscreen mode that does not let you customize the render resolution. So whenever you enable fullscreen in game, the resolution box gets greyed out and the number in that is ignored. It's always your monitors set resolution. Set "Radeon Super Resolution" to "Enabled - Borderless Fullscreen" then set the "Resolution Override" to "Quality" (which should show you are going to be upscaling from 1080p in the case of a 1440p monitor). It'll be changing your monitor's resolution to 1080p every time you open the game, and will change it back to the original once you close though. There is no way to work around this because of the way the game handles fullscreen as mentioned earlier. I hope this helped, have a nice day! Answer from Levi-san on reddit.com

Configure Radeon™ Super Resolution with AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition
June 25, 2025 - RSR requires Windows® 10 / Windows® 11 based desktop systems with discrete AMD Radeon™ RX 5000 Series Graphics and later, select AMD Advantage systems with a full installation of AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 22.7.1 or later. For games that have built-in support for AMD FidelityFX™ Super Resolution (FSR), it is recommended to use FSR as game specific optimizations may provide better upscaling results over RSR.

r/TowerofFantasy on Reddit: How to properly enable Radeon Super Resolution?
November 11, 2022 -

Has anyone been able to successfully activate Radeon Super Resolution or does the game even support it? Any chance for a step by step how-to?

I'm running a 1440p monitor and would like the PC to just upscale to it from 1080p.

In AMD software at Global Graphics, enabling Radeon Super Resolution does not work for me when I check AMD software stating that upscaling is inactive. I am at full screen, 1080p settings in-game.

But ultimately, would like to run Radeon Super Resolution only for ToF, so hoping for assistance on that end as well. During "Add a Game" option, to which exe or file do I point to? Is it tof_launcher.exe?

February 8, 2023 - Use only VSR ... Okay reading the comments it seems your OP was very confusing and using the wrong terms. ... You have a 1080p monitor and want to run in 4k downscaled to 1080p to make your 1080p monitor look better? Simply go to VSR in Radeon Settings. Display -> Virtual Super Resolution.

r/radeon on Reddit: How do i properly use Radeon Super Resolution?
March 22, 2025 -

Hi, i have a Sapphire Nitro+ 7900 XTX and i use a Samsung 49" Ultrawide.

The Game i play is Le Mans Ultimate, a Simracing Game. I want to use Super Resolution to upscale it fro 1080p to 1440p to have a good quality and gain some FPS:

Somehow it does not work for as, as its written in the Help text.

It works when:
i set up my Samsung to 1440p, i have to set the game to FULLSCREEN 1080p
i set up my Samsung to 1080p, and the game to 1080p. Then it works with Borderless Fullscreen too.

It does NOT work when:
i set up my Samsung to 1440p, ingame 1080p with Borderless or Windowed!

So my current solution is to run my big main screen always with 1080p, which i dont really like. I need the game to run in Borderless Mode for some overlays and cause i have three screens, where i often click out of the game. Is it possible to somehow get it work with 1440p Samsung and Borderless Ingame?

FSR vs RSR vs RIS: Using the ROG Ally's upscaling and sharpening features
February 27, 2024 - Radeon Image Sharpening (RIS) adds a sharpening filter to the image, which can mitigate blur that may be present in certain scenarios. So here’s the TL;DR: if your game supports FSR, you should use that for best results. If your game does not support FSR, you can use RSR instead. And RIS can be used as needed in different scenarios. FidelityFX Super Resolution, or FSR, is a suite of technologies built into modern games that increases performance while retaining excellent image quality.

r/radeon on Reddit: Tip for enabling Radeon Super Resolution on any game with borderless fullscreen (incl. Starfield)
October 12, 2023 -

I looked through a bunch of posts for enabling RSR for Starfield, but didn't see this process clearly outlined anywhere (apologies if I just didn't look or read hard enough).

  1. Before opening the game, open AMD Adrenaline (22.3.1 or later)

Note: from what I can tell, this doesn't require changing any settings in game, you just have to do it before you launch the game.

2) Go to Gaming >> Games >> [select game]

Note: when you select Gaming >> Games, you should see a list of games installed on your PC

3) There should be a Graphics section, and under that a section for Radeon Super Resolution; select Enabled - Bordless Fullscreen

4) A section called Resolution Override should appear underneath Radeon Super Resolution; there is a slider next to it; this slider selects the resolution you want to upscale *from* (it will scale to the native resolution of your screen)

5) Launch your game (there is a Launch Game button right on the game page, but you can launch it from elsewhere too)

6) As the game launches, you'll notice that the screen resolution is changing to the resolution override value

7) You're all set. If you're curious, you can go into the game settings and you'll see that the resolution matches what you selected for Resolution Override.

Note: changing the resolution in game messes things up, at least some of the time for some games. If you want to try upscaling from a different resolution, quit out of the game, modify resolution override, and re-launch the game.

This worked for me for both Starfield and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. The option was there for other games (AC Mirage, Disco Elysium), but I didn't test them.
