Super easy, make sure the app is set up to have the home screen shortcut where a little bar appears on the bottom of the screen, then make sure you have a card already set up in the app before you go to a store. Once that's all good and ready to go all you need to do is go to your home screen when you're checking out at the register, swipe up on the little bar, and it'll either ask for your PIN or if you've set up the fingerprint you can just use that, and it'll vibrate and show a countdown. Once that's happened you just tap and hold the phone against the credit card reader. If you're using a case that's too thick for wireless charging it'll probably be too thick for the MST mode on Samsung Pay but it should still work with any Tap-to-pay readers using NFC. Swiping up from the bottom of your screen is the quickest, most convenient way to pay using the Samsung Pay app. If the card you want to use isn't appearing, you can customize which cards are accessible from within the app.

Is it possible to use Samsung Pay in an app or the web browser? If so, how?
Yes, but you will have a tough time finding an app that supports Samsung Pay besides Samsung's own apps. Everyone that supports in-app purchases with a mobile wallet uses either Apple Pay or Android Pay or both. I never see Samsung Pay support or accepted logos for apps/online retailers. Do you need the LTE version to use Samsung Pay without your phone?
You do not need your phone for a limited number of purchases. I cannot remember that number, but it is like 4 or 5. After that your watch will have to connect to the phone again. This is a pretty useful feature that I end up using more than I would have thought.

personally I really don't like the gesture where you swipe up for the card. you set up your credit card in the app (you'll likely have to speak on the phone with your bank which only takes a few minutes). then once you're setup, anytime you're at an NFC or even a regular credit card terminal you just pull out the app select the card and use either your irises or your fingerprint to authenticate for the purchase. it's extremely quick and easy and the receipt shows up immediately on your phone. I can't recommend it enough, I don't even carry my credit card around anymore.
