Do you mean like panning around a slide in normal/edit view while you're zoomed in? If I had a nickel for every time anyone's asked Microsoft for this, I could buy Microsoft and TELL the developers to just DO it. But no. It's a VERY common request, but one that never seems to make it to the top of the To-Do list, so unfortunately, so far, ya can't do it. The scroll bars is what we have and yeah, that just doesn't cut it. But please, use feedback in PPT to request this feature. The more requests, the higher it move up the Do It Next list. r/powerpoint on Reddit: Ideas of how I can achieve a zoom feature.
February 29, 2024 -

I have an idea of what I would like to achieve, just wondering if it is possible with PowerPoint:

Imagine a picture of a complicated system which I'll refer to as the "Big picture". During a lesson I would like to break down the system in to sub systems which I have other drawings for. Is it possible to have the big picture up, and when I speak about a specific sub system I can click on rooms within the big system and the presentation zooms into the big picture and ultimately shows the sub-system drawing and when I click out it zooms back out to the big picture?

I understand this may not be directly achievable but any ideas to get close would be appreciated.
