never heard of a laptop without usb ports. maybe all type-c but there should be at least one or two. only other option without usb is if it has a wifi card with integrated bluetooth. in some cases, you can swap that wifi card with one that does. Answer from msanangelo on reddit.com

My daughter wants a mouse so she can player games on her laptop, but the laptop does not have a USB port (that I'm aware about.) I'll try to find out what type of Gateway it is exactly. I know it's a gaming laptop. I spent about $600 but it was refurbished. Brand new it was listed at like $1200 but I understand that means nothing
EDIT: So this post shows how little I know about computers in general!!. I guess I t should have a usb port?! I'll grab a regular wireless mouse. Thank you for everyone's help.!!

Help me. I want a mouse which works without taking up a usb slot. Which means not a wired mouse nor a wireless mouse with dongle. Instead, I want a wireless mouse which connects via the computer's own Wi-Fi or bluetooth. Where can I find them?, and do these dongle-less mice have a special name?
PS: Don't even say trackpad. My PC's trackpad is a crime against technology.
