Anyone have experience with this printer? Are there better ones for cheaper?
Can anyone help me figure out why there are these smudges on my paper when printing? I’m assuming it’s a roller that’s dirty and it’s causing ink to get stuck to it. If that is the case, where in the printer do I access it to clean it? The printer is a Color LaserJet Pro M454dw. Thank you!

I am leaning towards Laser printers for two reasons:

Amount of printing I wish to do, I assume laser is my ideal option.

Laser toner material is better at avoiding smudges from moisture (sweaty palms, random rain drops, etc.)
I have a user with a LaserJet Pro M454dw, print count at just over 36,000 pages. All original HP toners. It just started printing faded pages, not every page, but every 10-20 pages. All other pages are perfect.
It has the latest firmware.
Any ideas?

If this is on the original toner, I’m surprised you have that many copies. The introductory cartridges yield is black: ~2300 pages, introductory Cyan, Magenta, Yellow: ~1200 pages each cartridge.

About 12 months ago I bought an HP M454dw printer and — the prints are amazing. I really like. I assumed LD Products would have made a compatible toner by now but no dice.
Is it just that these printers with toner chips won’t have compatible toners with chips preinstalled made? I’ve been at very low ink for a few weeks now and was hoping someone would fill the market need.
I’m a bit surprised it’s taken them this long to build a compatible model? Is that normal?
