Does HP CoolSense actually do any significant?
CoolSense software detects whether or not you're moving your laptop around and adjusts the cooling fans accordingly. With my old HP laptop I disabled it, it was rather annoying for me. This might help. More on reddit.com

Maybe it doesn't have the sensors required. Not every laptop from a manufacturer has the same hardware. More on reddit.com

There is a bit of initial setup but nothing crazy, and it guides you through with a nice and clean UI. Once you're in, you can set your fan curve and all the smaller details if you want, like how long will the fans take to spin up or spin down, or how long to delay a speed change after hitting a certain temperature threshold so that its not constantly revving up and down

July 16, 2015 - That HP CoolSense version is incompatible with my hardware configuration. I'm running version 1 and that most recent update version 2 pertains to the 3rd Gen Core i5/7 and nVidia/Intel video processor setup. I really wish those HP engineers had thought that far ahead when they were building my system. I assure you that HP never intended to see my particular model laptop run anything other than what they installed on it from the factory, because they as much as told me so.

June 6, 2019 - Edit: It has automatically solved itself, more specifically after the reinstallation of the HP Coolsense program and its Framework and resetting the BIOS then finally repairing the program, it started functioning like normal but I had to wait a few hours (well that was when I noticed the change, maybe it could have worked since after I booted up the PC for another gaming session).

Sometimes we can spend a long time in powerful games and as a result, the computer gets hot, of course, but until the temperature exceeds 79 80 degrees, it does not raise the fans at all, even if it goes above it, it runs the fans at a lower speed.

It's on my laptop, but I have no idea whether as to it works or not. I am just trying to delete all bloatware on my HP laptop, but really unsure about this coolsense one and would like to ask if anyone knows anything about and, if they would reccommened installing it.
P.S. I play games on my laptop, and the bottom of the laptop/ fan outlet area heats up when playing, if that means anything.

EDIT: Ok, so I turned it off and it was significantly better. Whenever I played a game previously, the fan was running at a high speed and very hot, it now runs quietly and less heat with the HP CoolSense turned off (which the irony is, CoolSense did not cool my lap top at all).

CoolSense software detects whether or not you're moving your laptop around and adjusts the cooling fans accordingly. With my old HP laptop I disabled it, it was rather annoying for me. This might help.

I used to work tech suppprt for Costco and the majority of our calls were for HP laptops and the majority of those calls were for overheating. Coolsense might help but if you ever notice its not running or it's running poorly you'll need to update the BIOS. If that doesn't work and you're out of warranty you're going to be pretty much SOL

November 1, 2017 - Next, in Start, type in Recovery Manager - this will allow you to open HP Recovery Manager. Open the Drivers section. This will give you a list - click on HP Support Manager and Install. This should then install the version of Support Manager, which includes CoolSense. Hope this works for you too.
