I have an HP Envy 5530 printer and since upgrading to Xfinity supersonic gateway etc my printer will not connect. I have tried unplugging, restoring network defaults, wps protected setup etc. these new gateways don’t allow to choose between the 2.4 and 5 GHZ it’s all automatic. Thoughts?

A co-worker and I are having the same problem connecting our HP printers to our Calix U6 routers (I also have the Envy 5530). We work for a small broadband ISP, so are able to access settings that end-users can't. I currently have the 5G & 6G bands disabled, leaving just the 2.4G, and it won't connect. I tried adding a second 2.4G SSID, and it won't connect to that either. I'm at a complete loss. I'm about to call Calix and give them hell. 😂😩 As far as I know, we haven't had any complaints from customers regarding this, which I find to be absolutely crazy. I hope I didn't just jinx myself! 😬 More on reddit.com
