Epson eco-tank range, you buy ink in a bottle and fill it up yourself. I’ve had mine over a year now and still haven’t needed to buy any more ink and I print quite often. More on reddit.com

HP Printers are worth to buy??

No. If you can survive without color printing (which is expensive), just get a cheap Brother laser printer. I recommend that you should consider an Epson EcoTank/Canon MegaTank/Brother INKvestment printer only if you know for sure you'll be printing more than once every week, in color, for atleast the next year or two. Issues can occur if they're left sitting unused for an extended period of time. More on reddit.com

Beware the HP Printers with 'e' in the model number.

For some insight: This looks like a great deal on the surface. 70% off an expensive printer. But something you should know about HP model numbers. The ones with an 'e' at the end are tied into HP's print services and will refuse to work without genuine HP supplies. So no remanufactured or 3rd party cartridges. They also require online access at all times to print to enforce their cartridge DRM, so if you need to print something and your internet is out? Tough luck. Chip read fails on your brand new cartridge? Also tough luck. That being said, the replacement cartridges for this printer aren't awful in the price range, but being tied tightly into HP services makes this a buyer beware. Edit: I looked, and it doesn't appear there's an unlocked firmware available yet, either. Edit 2: They're actually much more actively shitty with this than I expected. From the listing - "3 MONTHS OF PRINTING INCLUDED – Subscribe to Instant Ink delivery service to get ink delivered directly to your door before you run out. After 3 months, monthly fee applies unless cancelled, and you save up to 50%." So, you can spend $350-400 on this printer, but if you want to print longer than 6 months, you need to pay monthly. "This printer is intended to work only with cartridges with original HP chips or circuitry and will block cartridges using non-HP chips or circuitry. Periodic firmware updates will maintain the effectiveness of these measures." So rather than just warning, this printer will actively refuse to work with a third party or remanufactured cartridge. Bravo, HP. You've set the bar EVEN LOWER for printers. More on reddit.com
