Beyond it being HP, the only other concern is that hinge for me. The specs are rock solid for the price. For $70~ more you can add a 500GB SSD and 8 more GB of RAM and you've got a capable 1080p machine. I was using last year's black Friday setup (gtx 1050 NON ti, 16gb RAM, 3550H) as a primary machine between computers for about 5 months and that was fine at 1080, so I have to imagine this will be even better. Used it primarily for school, CSGO, Rocket League, Fortnite, Resident Evil 2/3. Hell if you travel and just want a machine to casually game on this is solid More on reddit.com

Hello :D A doctor here who has 0 technical knowledge about computers/laptops. ( Backlights are on just for the pic )
Please help me out with my queries.
I have attached further photos, where it shows the battery capacity has decreased from 52.5 to 48 mWh within 15 days.
From past 4 days, I observe battery refusing to go above 95% battery and today it did reach 98%
I didn't know the concept of battery limiters. Regretting right now fro buying hp laptop.
I always use it with a table fan running next to it and have placed it in a elevated platform with external keyboard and mouse.
How long did your hp laptop battery last in long term. Looking at my pic, it doesn't even seem like it'll stand for 6 months.
Any suggestions/ help/ advice will be of great help. Thank you :D

How much RAM you got? If you ain't got 16GB - upgrade now ASAP. It won't cut it in 2023 with many newer titles. At 1080p aiming for 50-60fps here at Medium or better - Resident Evil uses 10-11GB RAM on the regular, Dark Tide uses up to 13.5 GB RAM, and Days Gone can eat anywhere up to 16GB RAM. Modern games in the AA and AAA space - and the future - are stiff. Also...GTX 1650? I hope you got that cheap, since that's so 2019. You don't even have DLSS here; you should've went after a 3000 series cards so you could at least get DLSS. 4gb VRAM GPU's are also on their way out, as more games are requiring 6gb VRAM cards and are falling more in line w/ the PS5 and XSX, as those are becoming the bare mimimums now (since games are likely leaving the old PS4 and X1's behind) - such as Returnal, Ghostwire Tokyo, Forspoken, Silent Hill 2 Remake & Icarus. Heck, games like Icarus, Forspoken, and require 16GB RAM and even recommend 32GB RAM. Of course, if you stick to namely old games from current and older X1/PS4 era; your GOG, Steam, Epic, and any other stores you been gaining backlogs from; and some older and some newer not-so-demanding Indies - yeah, you'll be fine w/ 1650.
