We did have a client who bought the following 15-eh2097nr within the last month, and we had it in the shop to upgrade the SSD to 2TB so we could move all of their old media off of their old water damaged laptop. HP i5- 1155G7 8GB ram, Usually like 256/512gb storage Not bad laptop, my girlfriend has it and does all her work on it. Handles very lighting gaming if your interested. But yeah you can probably find one for roughly your price potentially. Id say its good for what your planning to do on it

In this case, the equivalent Core i5-1155G7 only has a performance rating of 10135, whereas the more recent Ryzen 7 5825U rates at 18358. And the Ryzen's superior 8-CU Vega integrated graphics have a lead on Intel's Iris Xe Graphics. Plus, this is a pretty full featured laptop that they got on sale currently. My last two laptops have been HP Envys 15.6", and they've held up well, despite me being tough on devices (I have cerebral palsy, so drops and such are more of an issue for me). I've always bought from HP and utilized their Accidental Damage Protection warranties for each laptop except for maybe one.
Anyways, HP decided to eliminate the numeric keypad from the Envy 15.6" models. I am not thrilled with having to spend more on a 17.3" just to get a numeric keypad, which I find makes it easier for me to type numbers with my limited dexterity. I think I would truly be frustrated not having one.
I've read that the Envy is overall better quality. Are the business laptops more durable and worth considering? I don't do video editing or gaming, just a lot of web browsing and YouTube. I don't even subscribe to any streaming services.

I'm on my second Envy. They are indeed better in terms of build quality, IMO.
Best Buy has a good deal on an i7 Envy 17.3 right now.
