It's a lot better than it once was, many years ago. Back in the day, you could find bad or wrong advice on many/most of their pages. Hell, the way it used to teach PHP database querying was pretty much a recipe to open yourself up to SQL Injection attacks. Now, it's at least correct, even where it's not very deep. But I'll never get over my mistrust of them from the past. Also, W3Schools has zero connection to the W3C , which the name is clearly meant to imply. Lots of shitty, shady sites use "W3" in their name to try to make you think they're more official than they are. Whether this is what W3Schools tried to do, I don't know, but I don't like it. The best source for web documentation is Mozilla Dev Network . This is almost always more complete and more authoritative than W3Schools. More on reddit.com

The web doesn’t forget. At one time their content was often inaccurate. However, as noted by others, they have gotten better. I would have rebranded but whatever. Their certificates aren’t worth a hill of beans. More on reddit.com

May 11, 2023I was learning HTML and CSS from w3schools. Now I see that they skipped some things. How to learn everything they skipped?
You will never stop learning new things. I have been making websites for 20 years, professionally for 13 and I am still learning CSS properties (clamp!) The best way to learn is to just start building projects and figuring out how to do things properly along the way. Enjoy the journey! More on reddit.com

As I said i just finished html on w3schools. I have watched some guides about css and html on YouTube before and did it on freecodecamp, and now i am doing this on w3schools because i liked it more.I want to finally get out of the rabbit hole of coding tutorials so w3schools will be the last one i am doing. And now the questions I would like to to ask. In css tutorial on w3schools, should I do all of the topics or i could omit some because they are not used at real work or just useless? After finishing css I don't know where should i learn js , continue on w3schools, or somewhere else? For example i found this https://github.com/Asabeneh/30-Days-Of-JavaScript/blob/master/readMe.md#syntax What do you think about it? And if the answer is to continue on w3schools, should i do all of the topics(same question as that one related to css on w3schools) Also I wonder if the fact that i am quiet bad in creative stuff like disigning etc. will affect somehow on my front-end experience?

W3 Schools is great as a reference but it's a good idea too look at a range of materials and tutorials to learn Javascript or any other new language or concept.
