I have an account with Notebooklm, but about 90% ofhttps://notebooklm.google.com/ the time I can not log in. I am in the US, so region isn't an issue. I am way over 18 and I have wiped all of my Chrome cache. And I have signed out of the profile. I have tried multiple browsers.
This is what a normal login attempt looks like for me on chrome: go to https://notebooklm.google/ and click on Try Notebooklm. New tab opens at https://notebooklm.google.com/?_gl=...... with a long set of characters. I assume that this is my account information. Then it just hangs and then timeouts. I have tried to go to https://notebooklm.google.com directly and it just hangs.
I have then tried to go and delete all browsing data. Then try again, same thing.
It worked the first time tried and it was a fine experience. I tried again a week later and started to have this problem. One other time it worked after I cleared the cache by deleting all of the browsing data.
Any ideas?

Hello guys I just found out about notebooklm and I’m trying to access to the website but every time I get a page that says the “service unavailable “ and that it’s not available for my account any guidance on this please?

Short answer is that in most cases this would be because according to the official NotebookLM FAQ you can only access the service using a Google account on which you've finished the age verification process, as it's only available to users that are over 18 years old. I was able to successfully access the app after finishing the age verification as shown here , so try that if you haven't already. It's also possible that you're trying to access it using a school/workplace managed account. In that case, the access to NotebookLM has to be manually enabled by your organization. Another thing is that as far as I know, NotebookLM alongside with the Google AI Studio and Gemini API simply aren't available in some countries/regions. Depending on which country you're trying to access it from, that might be the issue. TL;DR - Verify your age on the personal Google account you're trying to access it with, and make sure that your region is supported.
