im in singapore, and I get 280+ mpbs upload and 340+ mpbs download but I get terrible ping in Hypixel. I can barely place blocks and move around somtimes. Please add a Asian server instead of a Europe server, we desperately need it.
It's not skill issue, 'YoU"Re Just Bad !@ ! ! ', its literally NOT PLAYABLE. WE CANNOT PLAY THE GAME. DOING BASIC TASKS IS NOT POSSIBLE. and you mfs ranting about high ping advantage. WHAT ADVANTAGE?? QUITTING MINECRAFT AND GOING OUTSIDE? WE CANT EVEN HIT PEOPLE 80% OF THE TIME AND WHEN WE TRY TO VOICE OUR OPINION EVERYONE JUST GOES "YOU'RE JUST BAD !@ ! " "GET BETTER! ! !". Please. I am begging you add a asian server. The community probably gives "splitting the community bad!!" at the bottom of the priority list when 1/3 of the globe can't even have a chance in Hypixel.
Feel free to put "youre jsut bad shut up stupid kid!!!" in the comments if you want to, i've given up at this point.

May 27, 2019 - EU and AS don't have an effect on which server you connect to. you can type anything and still be connected to the main server you can actually type EPICGAMINGFORTNITE.HYPIXEL.NET and you will still connect to the main server, which is in the USA. if you're from Asia then you'll have some issues are you from China by any chance? ... It doesn't matter what ip you use, if it ends on .hypixel.net you will connect to the main server.

January 29, 2025 - we assume every single player knows which server is closest to them they can connect to that ip, then it could sorta work. its what some 1.8.9 servers do by just having a na server ip and an eu one. yes, interactions with servers would be handled slightly differently but a fair amount of 'player to player interactions' are handled globally anyways so not much would change. Click to expand... Those work by splitting up the player base which would kill lots of small games. There are other ways however they don't scale well and wouldn't work for Hypixel as an admin at the time explained.

Transfer packets basically allows a server to have to have proxies in multiple different places, so you could queue a game in Asian servers with other Asian players and if that doesn’t fill you would transfer to another server from a different proxy, this would all happen without you ever having to disconnect.
